Black History Month : fight for equality !

Black History Month is an annual celebration. It started in 1926 in the USA and it is celebrated in February .

This event is a tribute to black people who changed the laws during the segregation period and fought against racism.

In the LCE class we studied some of these famous personalities like Harriet Tubman,Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, the Black Panthers and Angela Davis .

We worked on two of Norman Rockwell’s paintings , we read texts on the protest movements against racial laws.

The chapter was really nice, we liked it very much !
